Filipino Fitness Coach in San Diego.
Two private training studios across the county — SMTF Point Loma (south) and SMTF Del Mar (north) — plus online coaching for anyone outside driving distance. Body recomp, strength training, and Filipino-friendly nutrition. Real coaching, not a content brand selling templates.

Christian trains clients out of two private SMTF locations — one south, one north. Pick whichever fits your commute. Same coach. Same programming. Same expectation of results. Both are 1-on-1 only — no group classes, no shared trainer time, no gym selfie culture.

Why San Diego Filipinos Train With Christian
San Diego has one of the largest Filipino-American populations in the United States — Mira Mesa, National City, Chula Vista, Eastlake, and Paradise Hills are all dense Filipino-American hubs. Most "personal trainers" in San Diego treat Filipino clients like everyone else: same generic plan, same generic macros, same generic advice to "just cut out rice." That approach burns out Filipino clients in 3 weeks.
Christian's system is built the opposite way. The macros are constructed around Filipino food — adobo, sinigang, tocino, sisig, lugaw — so the plan survives contact with a Filipino household. The training is strength-first for body recomp, not steady-state cardio for "weight loss." And every session is 1-on-1 with a coach who actually understands Filipino body composition, not a weekend-certified trainer reading from a clipboard.
Whether you live in Pacific Beach, Mira Mesa, La Jolla, or Coronado — the system is the same. What changes is the drive to the studio.

Is Christian a real coach or just an online program?
Christian is a working 1-on-1 coach with a Master's in Sport Performance, training clients in-person at SMTF since 2014. The online program is an extension of the in-person practice — same coach, same programming — not a templated course sold by a content creator.
Do you work with Filipino-American clients specifically?
Yes — Filipino body composition and Filipino food culture are core to the coaching system. Mira Mesa, National City-adjacent areas, and Filipino-American households across San Diego are a primary focus. Non-Filipino clients are welcome too — the system just adapts.
